The life and times of Kevin Hughes - MCT, SharePoint Architect, SQL DBA, Systems Admin, Master Mason, philosopher, and low-budget philanthropist.
Kevin is a technical architect, database administrator, network engineer and trainer with over 30 years of experience in all aspects of Information Technology. Beginning in the late 1970s writing applications in FORTRAN and COBOL, Kevin has been in and out of academia multiple times and has worked for small businesses and large companies such as Texas Instruments and Raytheon.
Kevin is a veteran of the US Army, a Master Mason and holds multiple degrees in Computer Science, History, Education and Religion. For fun Kevin enjoys medieval recreation, golf, travel, teaching, fine cigars, cooking, massage & gaming with family and friends.
Kevin is married to Trudy, who has put up with him for over 10 years. He has a son, Kevin II, who is 21 and attends East Tennessee State University, and a step-daughter, Christine, 24, who is pursuing a career in NY.
